Dandy Pickpockets Diving

The colored caricature Dandy Pickpockets Diving depicts extravagantly dressed men picking pockets beside a woman in a voluminous pink cloak. Tall hats, high collars and an elaborate bonnet exaggerate the figures’ silhouettes, with fine crosshatched shading around the muted shopfront setting.
